While each of the partners of CC&F has experience primarily representing management, each of us has also represented employees facing difficult situations in the workplace or beginning or ending their relationships with their employers. We do not, however, take cases on behalf of organized employees or unions, or cases with the potential to adversely affect the interests of our employer clients. We are very selective about cases we accept, requiring a strong showing of meritorious facts.
We believe that representing both employees and employers gives us a better insight into the tactics and strategies employed by the lawyers on the other side of the bargaining table or courtroom. We are pragmatists who strive to resolve cases expeditiously.
We also believe in employing preventative measures to avoid costly litigation and have expertise in drafting employee manuals and arbitration agreements. We are proponents of mediation, but we will litigate cases zealously where appropriate and necessary.
